Who can register
The registration is open to Year 5 students who will apply for the 2025 selective high school placement test.

Sunday, 27th October 2024

Reading, Writing, Mathematical reasoning & Thinking skills

Test session
9:00am – 12:30pm OR 1:30pm – 5:00pm session.
Test Centres
The ASAT Test Centres (Strathfield, Pennant Hills and Moorbank areas) will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
Registration Fee
$100 per applicant (non-refundable)
$90 discount price offer to the students who enrolled in the 2024 Term 1, Term 2 or Term 3 full-term WEMT, STTC, Thinking Skills or Writing course at Pre-Uni New College.

Test outcome
The ASAT outcome advice email will be sent out to the parents on Sunday, 10th November 2024 with a unique test report download link. The date may vary depending on the number of participants and test marking time.

Conditions of Registration
  • While we have made every effort to ensure an accurate testing experience, we do not provide any express or implied warranties, endorsements, or representations regarding the accuracy or suitability of this mock test for any specific purpose.
  • This test is independently produced by Pre-Uni New College and is not officially endorsed by the NSW Department of Education.
  • The actual selective high school exam may differ in format, content, and difficulty.
  • The test venue and schedule are subject to change depending on the number of participants.
  • All test questions remain confidential and are not available for review after the exam.
  • There will be no makeup tests offered for missed exams, regardless of the reason for absence.
  • Cancellation of registration will not be eligible for refunds or credits.
  • If a student's laptop fails during the test and they need to use a rental laptop without having booked it in advance, their parents will be charged a $50 rental fee.
  • We are not responsible for any damage to students' laptops. However, parents will be held liable for any damage to rental laptops.
