Keep your answers clear and easy to read.

Rule 1

Circle One Answer

For each question, circle one answer option only.

Rule 2

Make It Clear

Your circle should be neat and easy to see. Do not cover the whole answer with heavy scribbling.

Make sure you are answering the correct question before circling an option.

06

CHANGEIf you need to change your answer, cross out the old choice neatly and circle your final choice clearly.
FINALYour teacher should be able to see exactly which answer you want marked.
07

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Check these before the test begins.

Mistake 1

Forgetting to write your name

Your paper cannot be matched to you if your name is missing.

Tip: Write your name first.
Mistake 2

Circling two answers

Two circles for one question make it unclear which answer you chose.

Tip: One question, one circle.
Mistake 3

Messy changes

If you change your answer, messy marks can make the final answer hard to read.

Tip: Cross out neatly, then circle the final answer.
Mistake 4

Answering the wrong question

It is easy to circle an answer for the wrong question if you rush.

Tip: Check the question number first.
