Our fun and engaging Year 2 Writing Course, starting in Term 2, will help them build strong technical and creative writing skills.

Students will alternate between workbook lessons and practicing exam-style questions from the OC placement test. The focus will switch weekly between Reading & Mathematical Reasoning and Thinking Skills & Mathematical Reasoning. Additionally, the weekly class tests will be computer-based to familiarise students with this format.

The course will help students unlock their inner storyteller and encourage them to express themselves uniquely. It aims to build a strong foundation in essential writing skills like grammar, punctuation, and spelling. The final session of the OC Trial Test will be scheduled for the first week of Term 2. This concluding session features Reading Trial Test 16, the final piece of our rigorous preparation curriculum.
