A new NAPLAN Trial Test Course (NTTC) will be available to Year 3 students, which will be 6 week course providing three (3) NAPLAN trial tests for assessment of knowledge and test performance. The NAPLAN trial test will be conducted in a computer-based format (CBT) requiring students to use computers provided in the classroom.

This program will assist students in enhancing their writing abilities for various academic assignments, including NAPLAN and ICAS Assessments, as well as selective high school placement exams. It will focus specifically on narrative writing skills, encompassing important elements such as grammar, spelling, and punctuation, all of which are integral aspects of the curriculum.

Year 4 OC Trial Test Course (OCTTC) is significant for students who will sit for the 2026 OC placement test. It provides weekly tests which enables assessment of knowledge and test performance. By taking OC trial tests on a weekly basis, students will be able to systematically build up their exam skills and be confidently prepared for the actual exam.

The “Thinking Skills for OC” Course is designed to foster the development of problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, equipping our students with the necessary skills for success in their OC placement test.
