Join the Term 3 Book Review Competition
Pre-Uni New College is excited to invite students to participate in our Term 3 Book Review Competition! Reading and reviewing literature is one of the best ways for primary students to develop critical reading comprehension and creative writing skills. For additional reading guidelines and literacy development standards, please check the official NSW Education Standards Authority website.
Who can enter the Book Review Competition?
The competition is open to students in Years 1 to 5 who enrolled in Term 3 EMG/WEMT course
at Pre-Uni New College.
How to enter the competition
Submit a detailed book review of your Term 3 EMG/WEMT novel through the
‘Book Review Competition’ menu on Cyberschool.
Entries will be evaluated based on your comprehension of the book and writing skills.
Make sure to highlight your unique voice and perspective—we’re looking for originality and insight!!

📌 Competition Closing Date
All entries must be submitted by Saturday, 17th October 2026.
🏆 Prize for Winners
Winners will be announced in December 2026. The winning entries from each grade will be
awarded a $100 tuition credit that can be used for enrolling in either holiday or regular term
courses at the Pre-Uni New College branch where it was issued.
