Being Different Doesn’t Mean Being Wrong
Nov 05 2025
Now, with only November and December left in 2025, many students and parents are reflecting on a long year of effort, emotions, and growth. OC and Selective High School Offer results have been released, and even the Reserve Band decisions are nearing their end.
For some, receiving an offer may feel like a great success.
For others, not receiving one might feel like a final failure.
But that’s not true.
This is not the end — it’s the beginning of something else.
| 🎧 EJAE’s Journey: From Trainee to Billboard Take EJAE (Kim Eun-jae), the artist behind the global K-pop hit “Golden” from the Netflix animated film KPOP DEMON HUNTERS. Few people know: She spent over 10 years as a trainee at SM Entertainment, but never got the chance to debut. She waited longer than most, missed countless chances, but she didn’t give up. Instead, she embraced her differences, kept working, and eventually wrote and sang Golden — a song that topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and inspired millions. |
She didn’t take the same path as others. But she kept walking, at her own pace, in her own direction.
Because not everyone moves at the same speed or takes the same road.
Some may arrive earlier, others may take the long way around — but that doesn’t make one better or worse.
What truly matters is not today’s result, but the consistency and growth shown along the way.
Being different doesn’t mean being wrong.
Within that difference lies a story — and incredible potential.
If your child builds the habit of perseverance, the future may turn out far greater than what you imagine today.
To every family, to every student:
We deeply applaud the effort, courage, and heart your child has shown.
Their path is the right one — because it’s theirs.
