Year 6 Australian Scholastic Achievement Test
The ASAT (Australian Scholastic Achievement Test) is an annual event organised by Pre-Uni New College. It aims to assist students in their preparation for the NSW selective high school placement test while providing them with a valuable opportunity to gauge their performance against thousands of their peers. By participating students can gain valuable insights into their academic standing and make informed decisions about which schools to consider in their application.
Immerse your child in a simulated selective exam experience:
ASAT replicates the actual selective exam setting, including the test format, timing, and pressure. The test is timed to match the actual exam duration, allowing your child to practice managing time effectively under pressure. This familiarises your child with the exam day atmosphere, reducing anxiety and improving focus.
Tackle realistic selective exam-style questions within the same challenging exam conditions.
ASAT questions replicate the complexity and cognitive demands of the actual selective exams, providing a realistic measure of your child’s preparedness. The tests feature diverse question styles and difficulty levels, mirroring the actual selective exams, and are aligned with the latest selective exam, ensuring your child practices relevant and up-to-date material.
Receive In-depth outcome reports providing actionable insights.
The reports provide individualised analysis of your child’s performance, highlighting strengths and
weaknesses in specific subject areas and question types. You’ll receive the comprehensive outcome
reports, showing how your child’s performance measures up against other students, offering practical suggestions for selective school choices.
Gain insights from testimonials shared by students who have benefited from ASAT.
