2026 Term 3 Progress Tests & Reporting Information
Year K-6 students will complete their term progress tests in Week 7
Jul 24 2026

Overview:
As part of the Term 3 WEMT/EMG/EM and 6+ coursework, Years K-6 students will complete their term progress tests during Week 7 of Term 3. These assessments play a key role in evaluating student progress and providing meaningful feedback to both students and parents.
Test Period:
- The Term 3 progress test will be held in Week 7, from Saturday, 29 August to Friday, 4 September.
- Make‑Up Tests: Students who miss their Week 7 progress test may take a make‑up test (excluding writing) by Wednesday, 9 September (Week 8).
In‑Class Testing:
- English, Mathematics, Thinking Skills (TS), and General Ability (GA) will be completed as paper‑based tests using one combined booklet and a single answer sheet. All questions are multiple‑choice.
- Tests will be conducted after the first lesson to accommodate late arrivals. Week 7 lessons will be shortened to allow time for testing, and there will be no writing module in Week 7. Please refer to the proposed Week 7 class timetable on the following pages.
- The Years 2–6 Writing Test will be completed online from home via Cyberschool during Week 7.
Zoom Classes:
WEMT Zoom lessons will run as normal in Week 7, as students will complete all Progress Tests
online via Cyberschool outside of lesson time during the week. Since there will be no writing module in Week 7, the writing lesson time may instead be used for another part of the lesson that requires additional time.
